Qlty Achieves SOC 2 Type II Certification

At Qlty Software, we know the safety of your data—including your private source code—is paramount. For this reason, we continually invest in the security of our products and information technology systems. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that we have achieved the next milestone on our security and compliance journey: SOC 2 Type 2 certification.

What is SOC 2, and why does it matter?

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a rigorous framework developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) to ensure that a company manages customer data with the highest standards. Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 compliance means that we have implemented these controls and that an independent auditor has verified their effectiveness over an extended period. We have also implemented automated compliance monitoring with Vanta as part of our commitment to continuously improving our security posture.
